So near yet so far - why aren't I finishing the novel? Why am I wasting time on the net? Well, I'm ill and really fucking down. I've been ill for weeks and weeks, and I've had enough tonight. Let me tell you about it.
Three months ago I said to the wife, 'Look at the fucking sky - chemtrails everywhere'. It was a warm weekend, clear blue skies, the end of winter, spring was on its way. She said something like, 'Uh-huh'. A few days later I got ill - it was sinusitis, it knocked me out.
Now, chemtrails - these grim fuckers were the last of the 'conspiracy theories' that I found to be real. It took me a fair bit of research and the realisation that we're up against technocratic psychopaths before I thought, yeah - they're spraying us, they're fucking spraying us.
A week after the illness struck I saw a plane up there with a good old fashioned contrail behind it. 'Hey, wife - that's what a fucking contrail looks like'. 'Oh shit,' she said, 'so it is'.
Antibiotics killed off the sinusitis and I was left with massive fatigue - three weeks off work - good for the novel (it was perfect occupational therapy) but not good for anything else in my life.
I was hearing of more and more people suffering from the same kind of thing. Everyone seemed to know someone who'd come down with the same shit. I was not alone. I was a fucked and common phenomenon. Work didn't seem to mind too much because 'something's doing the rounds,' and I was told that it was 'due to the change in the weather'. Huh? The weather? No fucking way - that might've given me the sniffles but not this - I'm ill, really fucking ill.
Then came the Easter weekend - another pleasant few days of blue skies and chemtrails, and I was ill again. It was exactly the same. And here I am, what, three or four weeks on, still ill, still off work - fucking ridiculous.
Chemtrails? The change in the weather? Bad luck?
